The Cybertruck does look cool

This is one of my biggest hot takes when it comes to cars. The Cybertruck does look cool.

On November 30, 2023, the notorious Cybertruck was released. After the product was announced in 2021, there was significant backlash against the design of the car. The person responsible for the design of the car was Franz Von Holzhausen, an American vehicle designer who has led designs for the Tesla Model S, X, 3, Y, Semi, Cybertruck, and Roadster. The truck’s design choice was centered around a futuristic aesthetic with bold and angular features. The truck’s design is one that I have heard a lot of mixed opinions about. Practically everyone I’ve asked said the design was horrible and hideous. But I think the design is really cool. The slick, metallic outside is something that catches your eye when you're driving. It’s a whole new genre of car. The inside of the car looks minimalist, functional, and spacious. The modern vegan leather on the seats and the smooth-textured plastic are both things that I    love in a car. The screen is big and has multiple uses, typical for Tesla vehicles. Although I have never been in a Cybertruck, it looks like a car that would be comfortable to drive. The angular design is something new that doesn’t fit with the rest of the road. That doesn’t mean that it is automatically an ugly car. The typical round convenience car that is seen everywhere is the norm for cars. And because the Cybertruck doesn’t suit that, prejudice may be inflicted against the newness of style. Cars like the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800, Lotus Esprit Turbo HC, or even the Back to the Future car are still considered cool and good-looking. Although the Cybertruck does take it up a level, the principle is still the same. It’s unfair to judge the car because it's bigger, more affordable (and therefore more common than those listed above), and made by a guy that only 40% of Americans approve of.

I will admit… the car isn’t perfect. The base grey it comes in is, in my opinion, not ideal. It picks up dirt easily, and the way sunlight reflects off it is awkward. The wheels also don’t fit the car as well as they could. I see those wheels as something on a more off-road-type vehicle, not a slick, modern car. I also don’t love how long the car is; if it were just shorter, I think it’d look much better. Though there are one or two flaws, the Cybertruck is a new futuristic advancement in the car industry that brings a never-before-seen design while also having comfort and style driving down the road.

I love seeing a Cybertruck on the road but all I've heard about the car is negative. Does anyone agree with me that the car does look cool?
